A: If your present hosting provider can no longer meet the demands of your website, or if you undergo regular downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the help desk staff to reply back to you, it might be a clever idea to change your hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Pixtride1, we realize that this can be hard & time–consuming. This is the reason why we will accomplish all that for you for free!Our seasoned technical team will move your website content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our techs have got a lot of experience migrating web sites and are able to handle anything – from an average WordPress–driven weblog or Joomla^™–powered site, to a very complex, custom–built application.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time interval, since there are a lot of factors, among them the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to move your site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not large).

A: We do not gather any personal information. We will require, though, the login information for your current hosting account along with the name of the website that you would like to transfer.

A: User privacy is truly one of our principal concerns – that is why, both our payment page and our CP login page are protected with enterprise–class Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We use security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and administrative procedures to secure the information that we gather online. And we’ve also got a detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we gather.

A: Your website will work exactly like it did before with your former hosting provider. After we have completed the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will alert you to preview it. If it is working properly, all you will have to do is change the NS resource records for your domain. Your site will be transferred over to us without any downtime.

A: While we migrate your web content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never contact them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered hosting platforms. Fundamentally, if we can access your Control Panel, we’ll be able to migrate your web site.The only platforms that we do not support are closed–source website creation platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
